Martha Wainwright (born May 8, 1976 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian folk-pop singer.

Biography
She is the girl of Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, and a sister of Rufus Wainwright. She has oft appeared in recordings by her personal members, & has freed many independent EPs. Her to the full length, eponymously highborn debut was freed within 2005 by Drowned In Sound, and debuted at total Eighteen on the American album sales stock and index charts.

Her band as well includes her cousin-german Lily Lanken, the girl of her mother's sister & collaborator Anna McGarrigle.
